Right
in the center of the village of Montcuq Pascale and Yves will welcome
you to their colourful and cosy restaurant. Here, Yves offers you
his cooking which, while influenced by modern trends is firmly rooted
in classical technics.
You
can find, for example, Pan Fried Scallops with cepes mushrooms, an
Escalope of veal on spiced bread with a coulis of Langoustines or
even Lambs sweetbreads and veal kidneys with wild mushroms.
You
will also find the chefs suggestions of the day, based on what's available
in the market: Wild Turbot with Hollandaise sauce, Filets of Pigeon
with a Bigarade ( bitter orange) sauce or a Filet of Escolier with
a red pepper mousse.
At
lunchtime there is always the menu of the day at €10 which includes
starter, main course and sweet or cheese.
The
Sud is open Tuesday to Sunday at lunchtime and Tuesday to Saturday
in the evening. Closed Sunday nights and Mondays. In JUly and August
the Sud ids open on Sunday nights.
